Things I am loving right now ...


Fun mugs seen on an impromptu visit to Liberty's this week.


Blossom in the park, during the Spring Fair a couple of weeks back.


Freebie magazine and some brand new books in the local library.  The Bowler's Meatball Cookbook is pretty good, includes sauces & dips and a range of fish and vegetarian options which I am hoping to take my pick from soon.


Some colour in the garden, at last.


A coat of paint on the garden bench.


And finally a resuscitated plant, which seemed to be on its last legs last year. 

 Who said I didn't have green fingers?

    I do like the colour of your newly painted garden bench, its the perfect colour against the planting.P.S. your revived plant looks good too, is it a saxifrage?

      Haven't a clue, donkey years old. It was in a large pot all dead in the middle and I heard you could cut the live area out and re-pot. Worked a dream, considering how cold winter has been.

      Thank you. When it comes to colour, my garden is pretty minimalist. Just lots of green really.

      Of the two books the meatball one is a keeper, but if I were to buy another cookbook or mug there may be a few raised eyebrows round here.

    I wish I had green fingers but sadly they seem to unintentionally kill most things. I even nearly killed my poor ivy! (she's making a good recovery though!)

    I love it when plants come back from the dead. Obviously that's why I leave all the dodgy looking articles in my borders (not me being slapdash, honest).
