Friday flowers ...

Better late than never, these gorgeous flowers are from the scabiosa family.  Just how does nature do it?  My particular favourite is the stellata, it is just so other worldly.  I spent a fabulous Friday with a work colleague, our rainy stroll through the town was topped off with a knickerbocker glory at Pelosi which has been in Ramsgate since 1945.  I do hope whoever takes it over will preserve the integrity of this wonderful 1960s style ice cream parlour, which has become part of our family history too.

Looks like it is going to be a 'dry' Saturday after all, despite rain being forecast, so a trip to What a Vintage Carry On might be on the cards.

Whatever you are doing have a good one xxx
