A little late with my Christmas round-up, but I have only just managed to find the time and wrestle the computer from the 'painter of nails'. Some recently introduced traditions include Christmas shoes, aren't they fab? Fairy lights by the 'painter of nails', oh how I wish I had the patience and the time!!!
Lego has been reintroduced and given its rightful place in this household, adults included.
Some emergency health-care on Christmas day, see what happens when you let someone loose with their doctor's kit.
Handmade cards to treasure, I have an aversion to Christmas cards but these are the right kind as far as I am concerned.
The table set for lunch, folded napkins courtesy of the 'painter of nails'.
And finally two of my favourite quotes from the season;
"Tiara off, hat on" and "Dad, there is still a unicorn behind the sofa that needs packing in the car".
Wishing you all a happy & healthy 2014 xxx

ReplyDeleteI went to my book club tonight and the group was split 50/50 so to whether they liked it or not.
ReplyDeleteOnce I realised it was a fairytale, initially I thought we were reading a historical novel!, I just let my imagination go with it and I really enjoyed it. Not something I would have chosen to read but that's why I like going to book club.

Love that last quote ... there's the title of a memoir in there ... The Unicorn Behind the Sofa.
