This is Christmas cheese in July and not for supper but for breakfast. A Christmas tradition here includes the purchase of a Eadburgh cheese. As you can see I couldn't wait another five months, neither could I wait until supper. Sometimes you have to just roll with it, especially when food is concerned.
P.S. Sorry to mention it so early.
Dear A Load of Old Tat
ReplyDeleteI gasped at the sight of such a cheese at this time of the year : however you are right in that it is good to push boundaries and constantly surprise us. I quite fancy a bit of that cheese myself now.....
Best wishes
Jenny
PS: Steady on - Christmas in July!
I know there's no stopping me!
DeleteIt looks similar to Brie, is it a stronger taste? I've started preparing for Christmas already, it can't come quick enough!
ReplyDeleteMore a Camembert style. I am going for a simple approach this year so won't be doing much preparation until October. You sound very organised.
DeleteOh my goodness. July? October? I need to go to the back of the class. There is no hope for me.
ReplyDeleteI only buy nice cheese for myself at Christmas (otherwise I'd be the size of a house). I would kill for a bit of Brie right now. Oh, and Stilton.
ReplyDeleteI like your style ;)
Sarah.
