The past few weeks have included, as well as a load of dust, eating out a lot and when eating out got too much, the purchase of a microwave. The chicken biryani from Waitrose was a particular microwave favourite. But my best moments included the discovery of raspberry blush cocktails with a side plate of Nachos (no photos) too busy enjoying the cocktail. Another discovery was rhubarb vodka spritzers with a discount if you bought two, well what was a girl to do? hic! My best meal during the four week period, apart from sitting in the sun enjoying a burger outside Fort's, was the warm chilli chicken salad from Wagamama. Tiny portion but oh so tasty, my new favourite. We spent the duration of the meal thinking up and texting names to my daughter's friend for her new baby sister who was literally being born whilst we dined. Enid, Ethel, Doris, Hatty or Maud anyone? Fortunately, depending on your point of view, we had no input into the final choice of name.
I like an Enid if possible

Cute names aren't they?
DeleteThe salad does look lovely & as for your drinks, well why not!
ReplyDeleteWhen walls are quite literally crashing down about your ears, only a cocktail will do.
DeleteMmm, love a good cocktail! xx
ReplyDeleteNaughty, but nice!
DeleteOoh, I could just down, I mean slowly sip a raspberry blush cocktail (had to Google it! ). Love Wagamama (not that there's one near here) and I always fancied having the name Araminta.
