Patchwork pie ...

Sometimes this is how we roll.  Perfection takes a little longer.

The temperature dial for my oven also fell off.

I am sure the pie will taste good whatever the disasters that befall it.

Have a lovely weekend xxx

  3. My pies tend to look like that, still taste delicious though.

  4. Is that not what they're supposed to look like? It'll still taste delicious. X

  5. Rustic pies taste better, surely? :)

My last cooker was missing the oven dial too and I had to use a set of pliers to turn it on. If the edge was turned flat horizontally I knew I was roughly at Gas mark 4. It made for interesting baking!

ps I've just managed to get around to answering your comment about the sink overflow.
I just ordered one of these:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kitchen-Craft-Overflow-Cleaning-Brush/dp/B002AT7QJ2

I'll let you know if it's more effective than the bottle brush.
