Found your blog last night from a link on another I read - sent much of last night reading it and have just finished the rest now - definitely one to be added to my reading list gong forward! :)
Over the summer I was wearing a dress that's over 20 years old, but that's only because I lost some weight this year and it felt very good. Trouble is I can't do without buying new clothes but alas I don't seem to be able to do without buying fabric to make new clothes with.
Love it! I have been rather too successfully making my old clothes do ... I got to the point where a few things were beyond repair, necessitating the dread shopping.
To save me buying new too often I go into the shops and try on a load of stuff and do a twirl in the fitting room!At least they are mine for 5 minutes!! (i DO POP THEM BACK EXACTLY HOW i FOUND THEM FOR THE CLOTHES SALES ASSISTANTS OUT THERE!!)
I love this :)
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteI need that badge!
ReplyDeleteA better trick is still making the old clothes fit ! lol
